Every Weathered Sailor piece is thoughtfully crafted using premium materials and intentional construction. With proper care, your garments will soften, age, and wear beautifully over time—just as they were designed to.

Washing

• Turn garments inside out before washing

• Machine wash cold with like colors

• Use gentle or normal cycle

• Avoid bleach and harsh detergents

Cold water helps preserve fabric integrity, color depth, and any embroidery or printed details.

Drying

• Lay flat to dry when possible (recommended)

• Or tumble dry low heat

• Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles

High heat can cause shrinkage and unnecessary wear—low and slow is always better.

Ironing & Heat

• Do not iron directly on prints, embroidery, or patches

• If needed, iron inside out on low heat

• Never apply direct heat to decorative elements

Special Notes

• Some garments may feature organic cotton, heavyweight fleece, or specialty finishes. These materials are intentionally designed to develop character over time.

• Minor variations in texture or fading are part of the garment’s natural journey—not defects.

• Avoid fabric softeners, as they can reduce softness over time and impact performance of natural fibers.

Storage

• Fold heavier garments instead of hanging to maintain shape

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

All Weathered Sailor pieces are made to order.

We don't hold inventory. Every hoodie, tee, hat, and accessory is produced specifically for you after you place your order. This is a deliberate choice — not a limitation.

Mass production means overproduction. Excess inventory that gets discounted, destroyed, or sits in a warehouse. We chose a different model from the start — one that only creates what's actually needed. This keeps our environmental footprint low, maintains consistent quality, and lets us operate as a lean brand that puts resources toward what matters: the product and the mission.

Production & Shipping Timeline

• Production: approximately 5 business days after your order is placed
• Shipping: approximately 5 business days after your order leaves our production partner
• Total estimated time: 10 business days from order to delivery

Timelines may vary slightly during peak periods or holidays. If anything changes with your order, we'll keep you informed.

Made to order also means made with intention. Each piece goes through our production partner's quality process before it ships. We use premium heavyweight fabrics, quality printing and embroidery, and construction built to last. Because we're not racing to fill bulk orders, we can maintain standards that mass production makes difficult.
