Weathered Sailor Return & Exchange Policy

At Weathered Sailor, every piece is made to order — each garment is created for you when you place your order, so we don't keep stacks of product sitting in a warehouse. But made to order doesn't mean you're on your own once it ships. We want you to love what you receive, and we stand behind every piece — which is why returns are always free, both ways.

Our Policy

  • 30 days to be sure. Take up to 30 days from delivery to try it on and make sure it's right. If it isn't, reach out and we'll make it right — your choice of a full refund or a free remake. To qualify, items need to be in original, unworn condition (trying it on is fine, just not wearing it out first).
  • Free return shipping, always. We cover shipping both ways. If you need to send something back, we'll email you a prepaid label — no return-shipping cost to you, ever.
  • Quality Guarantee. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we'll replace it at no cost to you. Just send a photo — no need to ship anything back first.
  • Fit not quite right? Reach out. Sizing on made-to-order pieces can be tricky, and we'd rather get you into the right fit than leave you with something that sits in a drawer. We'll sort out a remake, an exchange, or a refund — whatever works best for you.
  • Sale items are final sale, and gift cards are non-refundable.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Email us at aaron@theweatheredsailor.com within 30 days of delivery with:

  1. Your order number
  2. Photos (if the item is defective or damaged)
  3. A short note on what went wrong

We'll respond within 2–3 business days and send a prepaid return label if one's needed.
